The Looks and Glitz
Something really interesting was brewing in Yamaha’s backyard as two faired motorcycles were spotted testing, but since both were in a move, it was difficult to get a hold of a clear image of its design. Although he managed to get the look of its upright tail section that the bike retains along with the vertically oriented single-pod LED headlights with eyebrows look-alike integrated LED DRLs.

Engine, Performance & more
The new Yamaha R15 V4 will be equipped with the same 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that would have 6-speed gearbox and would continue using the assistant slipper clutch mechanism. This new machine might squeeze out some extra power of 18.6 PS and torque of 14.1 Nm from its engine and is expected to use the existing telescopic forks & rear mono shocks to keep the cost in check.
This engine gets Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), which optimizes power delivery throughout the rev-range. The brakes are pretty efficient, and the motor of the bike is expected to be updated with a DOHC setup for better refinement.
