Design & Features

Yamaha R15 V4 gets a new Bi-functional LED headlamp flanked by LED DRLs, instrument console with Yamaha’s Y-Connect app. The display gets modes – Street & Track, along with lap timer, call/message alerts, gear position indicator, mobile battery status, connection status, average fuel efficiency, and last park location. You can also access information such as instant fuel economy, air temperature, ECO indicator, degree of throttle, and rate of acceleration.

Engine & Performance

Yahama R15 V4 is powered by the same 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. That produces max power of 18.4 PS at 1000rpm and a peak torque of 14.2 at 7500rpm. New R15 V4 produces 0.2 less power in comparison to R15 V3. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch.

Safety & Hardware

The R15 V4 hardware gets a massive boost thanks to the new USD fork. The rest of the motorcycle is pretty much the same. The motorcycle gets a delta box frame, preload adjustable mono-shock, disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS. The R15 V4 gets a rear radial tyre as a standard.

The Yamaha R15 V4 Dark Knight & Metallic Red variants are priced at Rs 1,67800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The racing Blue variant is priced at Rs 172800(ex-showroom, Delhi). While R5M price at Rs 177800(ex-showroom, Delhi), and the exclusive Moster Energy Edition is priced at RS 179800(ex-showroom, Delhi).
