TVS Motor recently has launched its brand new bike TVS Raider. It gets a host of features over its rivals. It is powered by a 124.8 cc 3-valve, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder, FI engine that mange to produce max power of 11.2 bhp and peak torque of 11.2 Nm. The TVS Raider 125 competes against Hero Glamour, Honda Shine, Bajaj Pulsar 125, and Honda SP 125. TVS Raider is currently available in two variants Drum & Disc. The price of TVS raider drum variant is Rs 77500 (ex-showroom) and the disc variant price is Rs 85469 (ex-showroom).
Design & Style
In terms of design and style Raider clear winner over its rivals. The 125 commuter segment, the Raider has featured a much more sporty design and features-packed bike. It gets a muscular tank, a stylish LED headlamp with DRLs, a newly design LED taillight, split-seat, sporty gearshifting options.
TVS Raider gets an LCD instrument cluster that displays important information like gear-shift indicator, distance to empty, tachometer, speedometer, clock, odometer, fuel level & so on. TVS new 125cc commuter bike is also offering a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist and navigation system.
TVS motor introduces driving mode first in the segment. TVS Raider 125 comes with two riding modes ECO and Power. That improves the pickup and increases the top speed, while the former improves mileage.
The new TVS commuter bike is equipped with a silent-start system. A feature which we have seen on some scooters. That means the motorcycle starts up without making any noise.
Raider – Under-Seat Storage
The TVS Raider also gets a first-in-class under-seat storage option. however it is not as large as a scooter, but you can easily store your smartphone, document and so on.
