Scooters are in high demand in the Indian market most people prefer to buy scooters due to low cost as well as low maintenance cost and utility. TVS Motor has teased a new two-wheeler that will be launched in India on Oct 7. It is expected to be the Jupiter 125 scooter. The scooter will get a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and an LED lighting setup.
Design
New TVS Jupiter will come on a tubular type frame and have an indicator-mounted front, a flat seat with a pillion grab rail, and a flat footboard. The scooter is expected to get a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, an all-LED lighting setup. Its rides on alloy wheels.
Engine & Performance
TVS Jupiter 125 will be powered by a retuned version of the 124.8cc, 3-valve engine available on the Ntorq 125. That will produce 10.06 Hp of max power and 10.8 Nm of peak torque. It will likely get a CVT gearbox.
Features
TVS Jupiter 125 will get features such as a digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, LED headlight and taillight, USB Charger Port, decent under-seat storage, and a sizeable flat footboard.
Safety
In terms of safety, New TVS Jupiter will be equipped with a disc brake on the front wheel, a drum brake on the rear wheel. It will get a synchronized braking system (SBS) for better handling. And it will get telescopic forks suspension on the front side and coil springs with hydraulic dampers on the rear end.
TVS Jupiter 125 Price
TVS Jupiter 125 price in India could be around Rs 70000 – 75000 (ex-showroom). At this price point, it will be rivals of Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125.
