Safety is our utmost requirement and priority on the road, especially for family and passenger cars. Accidents can happen anytime or by anyone. Sometimes it happens because of human mistake and sometimes it happens due to natural disasters or machinery failure. Accidents can’t be stopped but it can be reduced and life can be saved by following the traffic rules and gaining benefits of modern technology.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) of India has taken cars safety seriously and has made it mandatory for all car manufacturers to add dual airbags for front row. And it is applicable from 1st April 2021 in India for all the cars being manufactured. Doesn’t matter how small or big it is. Even if Tata starts manufacturing Nano again, then the car will have dual airbags in the front row.
These days almost all the cars are equipped with safety technologies and buyers also understand the importance of safety so the sale of safe cars are gaining more sales.
This was not the case years ago. No one was serious about car and road safety and very few buyers were buying high safety cars such as cars with dual airbags and ABS, ESP, etc. Neither car manufacturers were very serious about safety while designing a car.
