News from Delhi says that there are many questions that have been arising towards the Tata Nexon Ev. The transport minister of Delhi has tweeted that the government of Delhi has decided to suspend the subsidy on the EV car model.
He tweeted that ‘we commit that we will support the EVs but at the cost of trust and confidence if people in claims of the manufacturers.

The Delhi transport system issued a showcase notice to the Tata company. And the reply from Tata motors states that the car stands by the Nexon EV’s claimed ARAI range, and will continue to engage constructively to protect the interest of consumers.

The range charge of the Tata Nexon Ev at the single charge full charge 312km is the basis certification received from the automotive research association of India (ARAI) it basically states that it is important for the manufacturers to test the EV before the news has been revealed to the customers.
It also says that it will be way easier for manufacturers to test the car first and then go to reveal the range of the car.
ARAI’s Test
There are some things which have been reflected by the ARAI (Automotive research association of India) it states that for Electric vehicles belonging to the M1 category, ARAI limits the range of testing the car in parts; the first part will be modified to get the Indian driving cycle. The cars will go through the 22 testing cycles which have been spread over 195 seconds each.

The average speed which should be maintained by the first cycle is 19kph and max up to 50kph. After 22 Cycles the total distance which will be covered by the vehicle it will calculate its range.

To calculate the total power consumption of the car over the 22 Cycles, the battery is put for charging within 30 minutes for the test. The energy measurement device has been placed between the main socket if the vehicle charger measures the (watt-hours) to the car’s battery.
