Tata Motors has unveiled New Tigor EV powered by Ziptron technology. The price and range will be disclosed on 31 August while it is available for pre-booking either online or via Tata dealerships.

2021 Tigor EV comes with a Ziptron EV powertrain. The advanced Ziptron high-voltage 300V+ architecture uses a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that generates 75hp of max power and 170Nm of peak torque on the New Tigor EV. This allows it to go from 0 to 60kph in 6 seconds.

New Tigor EV Charging
The high-performance battery technology used in the new Tigor EV is compatible with the globally acceptable CCS2 charging standard. In fact, all it takes is a 15A plug to charge your car. Speaking of fast charging, Ziptron-powered cars take about 60 minutes to go from SOC 10% to 80% with a DC fast charger.
