Mahindra announced the name reveal of its three-row SUV as XUV700. The Indian automaker has pertained to trademark the nameplates. Which includes XUV100, XUV400, XUV 900. So in this post, we are going to tell you detailed information about the Mahindra trademark.
The manufacturer of the car already has the XUV500 in the mid-size segment and the XUV300 in the compact SUV segment. And soon to be launched its best XUV700 which will replace the aging XUV500.
The trademark of the company applications can be Seen filed recently on April 7 and are yet to the approval by the trademark registry. The current status of applications reflects formality check pass and the trademark applications have the same ‘XUV’ prefix which could hint at the manufacturer’s plan for expanding the sub-brand.

Going purely by the nomenclature, the XUV900 label is utilized for the Mahindra flagship SUV that will replace the Alturas G4 in the full-size SUV. The Alturas model was launched in the year 2018 and it is undoubtedly a value proposition but has not been able to make the mark in a segment that is dominated by Toyota.
Along with this the XUV100 and XUV400 nameplates can be smaller than the SUVs, details are not known at the moment. As per the news, Mahindra will launch the XUV700 in the Q2 of 2022 which will be followed by the NextGen Scorpio. The XUV500 will be discontinued temporarily after the launch of XUV700.
