Kawasaki Z650RS retro motorcycle is likely to launch in India by 2022. The new Kawasaki retro bike will have 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It will compete against Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Honda CB650R.
Design
Kawasaki Z650RS could be expected to sport a teardrop fuel tank, flat seat with a ribbed pattern, upswept exhaust, rounded headlight as well as mirrors. The motorcycle should be expected to get a full LED light setup, 4.3 inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It will ride on alloy wheels and it will have a wheelbase of 1405mm and weight up to 190 kg.
Engine, Transmission and Performance
Kawasaki Z650RS is expected to be powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 67hp of max power at 8000rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6700rpm. The engine should be mated with a 6-speed gearbox and it will hit a top speed of 191 km/h.

In terms of features, the motorcycle will get features such as full LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, 4.3 inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, stylish fuel tank, alloy wheels, rounded headlamp.
Safety
In terms of safety equipment, the Kawasaki Z650RS motorcycle will be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS. The bike will get telescopic forks suspension on the front side and a horizontal back-link unit with adjustable preload on the rear end.

the Kawasaki Z650RS price in India could be Rs 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Kawasaki retro-styled bike will compete against Honda CB650R and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
