BMW Motorrad India will launch its C 400 GT premium maxi-scooter on Oct 12. The BMW C 400 GT will be the most premium scooter in the Indian market. Indias most premium scooter will be priced at Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has already started pre-booking of maxi-scooter for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.

ENGINE TRANSMISSION AND PERFORMANCE

BMW C 400 GT is powered by a 350cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine featuring four valves per cylinder, overhead camshaft with rocker, and wet-sump lubrication. That produces 34 ps of max power at 7500 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 5750 rpm. The engine is mated with a step-less CVT gearbox.
SPECIFICATIONS

The C 400 GT ride on 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels. The front wheel gets double disc brakes with a 4-piston floating caliper. The scooter also features ABS and suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork with a 35 mm diameter on the front wheel and Double Aluminum swingarm, Double spring struts, adjustable preload on the rear wheel.
