As per the news, Chetak will offer the stage to the KTM and Husqvarna as the production of KTM and Husqvarna will be made in India. To reduce the cost of the development the new electric scooters will share the platform as that of the Chetak.

The KTM and Husqvarna scooters are said to be sportier, trendier, and futuristic as compared to the Chetak Electric scooter. Chetak is targeting all types of audiences as the Chetak is made for all age groups whereas the KTM and Husqvarna will target the young audience. As per the news, the Bajaj is planning to open a new production facility in Chakan which is near Pune. The Chakan will take up the responsibility of manufacturing the range of premium Motorcycles. This facility will be used to manufacture the Husqvarna and KTM electric scooters which are expected to launch in 2022.

As the bajaj has made a collaboration with the Pierer mobility KTM and Husqvarna Electric scooter will be manufactured in India as part of the collaboration between bajaj and Pierer Mobility.

Along with this, the partnership will entail the development of electric bicycles. The Pierer mobility is working on multiple Evs with a power range of 3kW – 10kW. The production is planned to debut in the latter half of 2022.

The EVs will be available in the domestic as well as in the International market. The KTM has revealed its E-speed scooter back in 2013 at the Tokyo motor event. The news has just been made but it doesn’t step up one the production stage.

The KTM Electric scooter is made up of a feature of battery swapping infrastructure. To be aware of the range anxiety in the European markets experiments have been done to develop a robust battery swapping infrastructure.

The fast-charging stations are built and KTM is planning to partner with Yamaha, Honda, and Piaggio to develop a common-use battery swapping infrastructure which will be made for Motorcycles for light EVs. It’s confirmed that the Husqvarna Electric scooter will be utilizing the 4kW electric motor.

As per the news, the electric motorcycle will be named Husqvarna e-Pilen with the modular battery system. By the second half of 2022, these Electric scooters will be on sale in the European markets.

The Austria-based innovation will be collaborating with the Austria-based Varta innovation for the battery pack. E mobility expertise and the E-Technologies GmbH will be used in KTM. The development of new electric drive systems and battery platforms will also be developed under this.
