Husqvarna look and design

The design will be the same as the current Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 with a unique design the Husqvarna e Pilen will make its way in the market. The shape of the bodywork of the E-Pilen will be quite different. The wheels, single front disc 43mm USD fork will be similar to those on the 250s model. There will be some adjusters visible on top of the fork which is quite similar to KTM 390.

The Husqvarna is filled with a trademark round LED headlamp which will be out a bit further to the front. The rear section of the car is minimal and the number plate and indicators will be swingarm-mounted. As of the 250s models. As the 250 models of Husqvarna the Husqvarna E-Pilen will be offered with the same tires as the 150 section rubber

E Pilen battery and range

The company hasn’t revealed any single Information about the battery capacity but it has confirmed that the Husqvarna e Pilen will turn up to the range of 100km. One of the best things about this bike is that the Husqvarna e Pilen will have swappable batteries. And as per the images, the battery is split into three packs which can be removed from the top area of the fuel.

To support the electric powertrain Husqvarna runs a new chassis. This trellis frame uses a side-slung mono-shock which has been seen from the spy images. Talking about the uniqueness of the bike, the E-Pilen will get a new curved swingarm that appears to be unique to this motorcycle.

The Husqvarna e Pilen launch in India

As we consider the latest news and the PIERER Mobility report from last year, the E Pilen is to be manufactured at the Bajaj plant in Chakan at Pune. The Husqvarna E Pilen will go on sale in 2022. The timeline could be moved here and there are some pandemic-related constraints, which can be an obstacle for the E Pilen concept.

We can expect that the E Pilen will be retailed out of the existing Husqvarna dealer network and the network if and when the company will figure out how to start selling it here.

The dealer network and other speculations will decide how much this bike will cost. Because this bike Will shares the platform with the Chetak e-scooter price we can likely say that the Husqvarna E Pilen will be more expensive than the existing Husqvarna 250s.

As we can say this bike will enhance the EV market and as per the news, it will rival one of the best Ev bikes, the Ather 450. As all the details are not revealed by the Husqvarna E-Pilen as we can see the concept as unique and interesting.
