The Harley Davidson premium motorcycle company has announced their upcoming updated motorcycle lineup just for the Indian market. The brand new Harley Davidson was discontinued because of some other work. The upcoming models exited the Indian market and now they suspended their production operations in the country.

As a result, the locally made street Harley Davidson 750 and the street rod have been discontinued in the Indian market which was bad news for us. With the brand shutting its manufacturing operations in the country, the Harley models are now been directly removed from the website.

The 750 model and the street rod model are the brand’s entry-level which are offering the buyers who are looking to be part of the Harley Davidson family.

When we look at the brand’s latest line-up, the iron 883 is the brand’s entry-level offering in the country. The Harley Davidson motorcycle sold in the Indian market they will be imported as (CBU) Completely Built-up units.

Street 750 was discontinued while manufacturing the price of the motorcycle was slashed by Rs 65,000. After the price gets down, The street 750 urban cruiser retailed at the high price of Rs 4.69 lakh. And when we talk about the street rod it was offered with a price tag of Rs 6.55 lakh. All prices mentioned are of ex-showroom (India).

Both the motorcycles were powered by a BS 6 compliant 749 cc, the V-twin and give you a liquid-cooled engine. The engine on street 750 produced a good range of 55bhp and gives a peak torque of 60Nm

And when we talk about the street rod, it produced a maximum of 70bhp and a torque of 65Nm plus five then street 750. 

However, the engine of both the motorcycles came mated to a standard six-speed gearbox.

The street rod motorcycle featured in a wide handlebar, gives the tear-drop shaped classy fuel tank and a giant radiator, when we talk about its light source the LED headlamps are tail lamps and turn indicators, blacked-out long exhaust, front seat footsteps and well-cushioned rider and pillion seats.

And also street 750 featured a long year-drop-shaped fuel tank with the forward seat that makes your ride comfortable and footpegs, an upright handlebar, and a classy well-cushioned rider seat. Which made it easier to travel long distances. Both motorcycles are offered with a low rider seat and height which made it easier to navigate the city’s busy traffic.

As per the news it is discontinued for production but The Harley Davidson brand continues to exist in the Indian market. The bike manufacturer of America has partnered with hero MotoCorp.

 Motocorp is the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer to handle sales and distribution of the motorcycles and has also onboarded a couple of Harley Davidson dealers all ready to commence the joint operations in the country.
