The renowned American car company Ford unveiled it’s brand new Ford Figo automatic version of its famous hatchback Figo in India. With its automatic system, the company marketed it in two versions, Titanium and Titanium Plus.
Ford had long been ready to launch the Figo automatic model. That was launched on the Indian market at last.

Ford Figo Engine
Ford Figo AT comes with a 1.2L Ti-VCT Petrol Engine with 96 PS Max power and 119 NM Max Torque. It comes with a 6 Speed Torque Converter Automatic transmission. Ford Figo AT comes with the same transmission as that in Ecosport.
This is one of the most fantastic things that Ford did. It launched in 2 variants, Titanium and Titanium+.
Ford Figo Features
In Titanium+, it comes with 6 Airbags, a Front Fog lamp, Rear Diffuser, Rear Wiper, Electrochromic IRVMs and 15″ Premium Alloys. These are the main differences between titanium and titanium+. The other features plus the safety features are available across the variants
In case of safety features, Ford Figo AT has ABS and EBD, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), TCS (Traction Control, HLS (Hill Launch Assist). So Ford has tried to accommodate most of the safety features in Figo AT. Ford Figo AT is available in 5 colours.
Ford says the car is the most powerful and efficient combo. The same gearbox as the Ford EcoSport SUV is provided. It also has a particular sports fashion that the youngsters adore so much, it even improves the driving experience.

Ford Figo Price
Figo price begins with the ex-showroom Rs 5,82 Lakh. The Rs 93,000 costs more for the automated version than the manual Titanium version priced at Rs 6,82,000 lakh.
While the new model of titanium+ prices for ex-showrooms Rs. 8.20 lakhs. Previously, Titanium Blu had been the top-end option and priced at the ex-showroom R’s 7,27 lakh.
They have not yet announced the On Road price. Hopefully, they will be announcing it soon.
Service
In other comparable models, the Ford Figo offers a service interval of 10,000 km compared with a service interval of 5,000 km and establishes the standard value of ownership standard with a standard 3-year guarantee or 100,000km guarantee.

Ford Figo Bookings
Taking into consideration customers ‘ conveniences and health throughout the pandemic, the company accepts new Figo AT reservations through its online dedicated portal www.booking.india.ford.com.
The online booking system enables buyers to select, book and deliver their new Figo AT from their homes’ comforts.
Online customers of Ford cars will get assistance in real-time by a partner booking, available from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 6 days a week.
The new reservation portal is part of the company’s recent initiative called Dial-a-Ford, through which clients can access the number 1800-419-3000 without charge.
Ford Figo Drawbacks
The 2 main drawbacks of this Ford Figo AT are
1) It doesn’t come with Paddle Shifter
2) It doesn’t have cruise control
If ford had included these two into the feature list, then Ford Figo automatic would have been a segment hit. But still, feature-wise and safety-wise, it’s a super good car !!!
