Mahindra Motors has been launched the 2021 Mahindra XUV700 in India. The starting price of 2021 XUV700 has Rs at 11.99 lakh for an entry-level MX variant with a petrol engine and Rs 12.49 lakh for the same MX variant for the diesel engine. Additionally, Mahindra has introduced AX3 and AX5 models with petrol engines at the price of Rs13.99 lakh and Rs 14.99 lakh respectively

Design

The 2021 XUV700 comes with a new design such as a new grille design, Headlights with C-shaped DRLs that drop down into the bumper, popout door handles that sit flush with the body, large angular taillights, and twin five-spoke alloy wheels. The Mahindra XUV700 gets the new AdrenoX system which it claims is ‘intelligent’ and it can also be integrated with Alexa to operate basic functions such as the opening and closing of the sunroof.

Interior

2021 XUV700 has a clean and modern interior design. The dashboard has a dual 10.25-inch screen layout” one for the infotainment and the other for the instrument cluster” housed in a single massive panel. It comes with one of the largest panoramic sunroofs in the segment.

Exterior

Mahindra XUV700 is built on a new monocoque platform. Upfront gets a new grille, Mahindra new logo, new LED Headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs. new sporty alloy wheels, new flush-fitting door handles, and new LED taillamps.

Engine & Transmission

The New 2021 XUV700 comes either petrol and diesel. The petrol version comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine Mahindra MStallion unit is tuned to produce 200hp max power and 380 Nm peak torque. The diesel version comes with a 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk turbocharged that will come in two units. The lower unit (entry-level version) will produce 155hp max power and 360Nm peak torque and the higher unit will produce 185hp max power and 420Nm peak torque. Both diesel and petrol versions have 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive.

2021 XUV700 Features

2021 Mahindra XUV700 gets several features includes connected technology including voice commands for the sunroof, AC control, and more. it also gets a sunroof, wireless charging, two-zone climate control among other many segment-best and segment-first features.

Safety

In terms of safety 2021, Mahindra XUV700 offers an Advanced Driver Assistance System(ADAS). It includes Forward Collision Warning (FCW)- which warns you of a possible collision and if you don’t react, it uses Autonomous Emergency Brakes (AEB) to stop the car. Other safety features include lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, smart pilot assist, traffic sign recognition, and driver drowsiness detection.

In addition, the 2021 XUV700 also comes with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, customizable voice alerts for speeding, and seatbelts with lap & retractor pre-tensioners for front seats.
