Motor, Battery, Top Speed & Range Comparisons
On the latest front, Okhi 90 comes powered by a centrally mounted 3800-watt motor with a removable 72V 50 AH lithium-ion battery. It offers a claimed range of 160kms and a top speed of 80-90 kmph and brags to go from 0-90kmph in 10 seconds.
On the other hand, the Simple One e-scooter is touted to be the world’s longest-range electric scooter claiming to offer a riding range of 300+ km per charge (236 km real world). It comes with a 3.2 kWh fixed battery pack and a 1.6 kWh removable module. This will now be upgraded to an 8.5kW motor as recently announced by the company and offer acceleration of 0-40kmph in 2.85 seconds with a top speed of 105 kmph.
Whereas Ampere Magnus EX comes with a 1200-watt motor that can sprint from 0-40kmph in 10 seconds and has a top speed of around 50 kmph. It gets a 60V, 38.25Ah detachable lightweight, and portable advanced lithium battery. It offers a 121 km range on a single charge.
Charging Comparisons
Okhi 90 can be charged from 0-80% in an hour but takes around 4 hours to completely charge the battery. It takes about 8 hours to fully charge a Simple One e-scooter, whereas the Ampere Magnus EX takes about 6- hours to charge fully.

Okinawa Okhi-90 looks like a cross between a motorcycle and scooter with its 16-inch wheels and a compact front fender. The e-scooter features a curvy front apron with LED DRLs and indicators, a chrome garnish, an LED headlamp with chrome garnish, chrome garnish for the side panels, an LED taillight, aluminium levers, chrome rear-view mirror, a wide step-up seat, and an integrated grab rail.
Okhi- 90 offers features like key-less remote, regenerative braking, boot light, USB port, automatic key locking system, parking mode, Eco and Sports riding modes, and side-stand sensor with start inhibitor, a smartphone app for a raft of provisions, including geofencing, vehicle location and navigation, trip history, speeding alerts, SOS alert, curfew alert, ride diagnostics, and more. It uses telescopic forks with twin rear shock absorbers & the braking is tended to by front and rear disc brakes with a combined braking system. It has a spacious floorboard and a large storage area of 40-liters, making it a very practical option.
Simple One is based on the Mark2 prototype and boasts of a futuristic design language that features a touchscreen instrument cluster with onboard navigation, Bluetooth, and 4G connectivity. It also has other features like access to music and calls via the user’s smartphone. It gets LED lighting at the front and rear and 30 litres under-seat storage along with a tyre pressure monitoring system.
Simple One rides on 12-inch wheels and gets suspension and braking via a telescopic fork in the front and mono-shock at the rear along with 200mm disc and 180mm disc at the front and rear respectively. The braking system and powertrain have been designed and developed in-house and patented as told by Simple Energy.
Ampere Magnus EX key features, this electric scooter gets an all-LED headlamp, a large 450 mm of legroom, a wide seat with a large under-seat storage space that even gets a boot light, keyless entry, vehicle finder, antitheft alarm, etc.
Magnus offers 2 riding modes Super Saver Eco mode and Peppier Power Mode. It has an aesthetically designed wide seat for superior driving comfort. Multiple EV prospects prefer Magnus across the country owing to its large comfortable space and distinctive ride comfort.
